Staff were very friendly and welcoming from the start (shout-out to Sofia for understanding and considering our unique needs), supporting my autistic daughter (who hasn't attended nursery since she was a baby) and really helping with the transition and socialisation aspects of nursery life. The SEND support was excellent (shout-out to Vivian the SENCo, a superb woman who helped with the EHCP process) and my daughter made good friends, who she'll miss when she goes to big school.
Staff supported with speech and language, toilet training, weaning off sippy cups, school readiness and developing friendships and social skills. This was an absolutely wonderful Preschool experience, and if you're looking for a place to send your child to pre-school, then I couldn't recommend more!
My two children both attended King Fishers. My eldest attended Pre-school, and my youngest started his journey in the Baby room, before moving through to Toddler room and then Pre-school.
Over the years, I’ve gotten to know most of the team and one of the things that really stands out is how low the staff turnover is. I’ve known many of them for the past three years, which has made the nursery feel like such a familiar and trusted place for our family. They are some of the most wonderful and caring women I’ve ever met. I’ve always felt the love, care, patience and dedication they bring every day during drop-offs and pick-ups. They have supported not only my children’s development and wellbeing, but our family too, and that has meant a lot to me.
The care my children received and the memories they made at King Fishers will always be so special to us. We will always look back on their time there fondly!
Kingfishers Nursery has been amazing for my daughter. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and make it feel just like home. The settling session was emotional, but they were so kind and reassuring — both to my daughter and to me.
She’s now so happy there and absolutely loves going, even asking to go on days when it’s closed! I feel completely confident knowing she’s in such caring hands. Couldn’t recommend them more!

The staff are all amazing and give 100% in every aspect of their roles, Sophia the nursery manager is so welcoming and shows a great knowledge of her job which you can see shows in the level of respect she has from all the other staff.

My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting there under the care and guidance of his key worker Amy, while building great bonds with all the other staff and students especially his morning interaction with Jordan she is happy and positive every morning welcoming him at the gate.
